Nicola Rawlins has been Head of Admissions and Pre-enrolment Relationship Management at Sheffield Hallam University since July 2009. Sheffield Hallam is one of the UK's largest universities and the centralised UG and PGT Admissions Service handles over 65,000 applications per year from Home, EU and International applicants. Nicola is also responsible for the pre-application advice and information service and admissions systems and projects team. In addition to ensuring the data quality of pre-enrolment system interactions, this team leads on various projects including the development of an Undergraduate Applicant Portal. In 2009/10 Nicola led on the implementation and delivery of 'Confirmation of Acceptance for Study' (CAS) for the University as part of Tier 4 Points Based Immigration.

Prior to joining Higher Education in 2007, Nicola worked as the Marketing Manager for BUNAC (British Universities North America Club). Nicola is a two times graduate of Newcastle University where she studied Architecture.
