Kevin Hoctor is Senior Policy Advisor to the British Chambers of Commerce and has led the organisation’s policy work on local government and regional affairs and business rates since joining the BCC in July 2007.

He previously spent four years as a Senior Public Affairs Officer at the Local Government Association, co-ordinating the LGA’s lobbying activity with government, parliament and other organisations.

Prior to the LGA, Kevin worked as a public affairs consultant advising a range of public, private and voluntary sector organisations on their lobbying activity, and for a local Member of Parliament.

Originally from Chelmsford, Essex, Kevin is a graduate of Manchester University and currently lives in North London.
