Executive Director & Consultant Nurse
Jane joined the NHS in 1976 & has gained a wide variety of experience in many different areas over the past 35 years. She moved into Primary Care nursing in 1990 & after completing a BSc (Hons) in Community Health Nursing in 1998, worked in the Public Health Department at Leicestershire Health Authority.
In 2001 Jane joined Leicester Homeless Healthcare & completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Primary Care. Jane retains some clinical duties as a Consultant Nurse and is the professional lead for the team of nurses employed by Inclusion Healthcare, which is a social enterprise (not for profit) organisation she jointly set up with fellow executive director Dr Anna Hiley GP. Inclusion Healthcare is committed to delivering excellent primary care services to homeless, vulnerable and hard to reach groups.
In 2009 Jane became a “Queen’s Nurse” & is an active member of the prestigious “Queen’s Nursing Institute” in London. Jane excels in developing robust relationships with partner agencies and leads on new business and service development.
