Ken Thomas
Ken Thomas, Managing Consultant, CMC Partnership (UK) Ltd
Ken has extensive experience of public sector finance and was a senior manager in a major UK public service delivery organisation. Throughout his career he has focussed on improvement in finance and resource management processes and the delivery of front-line operational efficiency. Ken has extensive experience of shared services, both as a lead designer and a business change manager. Most recently he has been working on the development and roll-out of shared services within a major UK government department and the realisation of the Welsh Assembly Government’s e-procurement and eTrading shared service initiative where he has had responsibility for customer engagement with Local Authorities and FE colleges in Wales.
Ken is a former governor of two FE colleges and was involved as a governor in the planning and execution of one of the first major college mergers in Wales.
