International Partnerships; Transnational Education - delivering UK Higher Education worldwide
16 Apr 2012
Eversheds LLP Headquarters, 1 Wood Street, London EC2
#hepartnerships There are now more students studying for a qualification from a UK university abroad than there are international students in the UK, according to a recent report by the UK Higher Education International and Europe Unit. The rise of transnational education (TNE) offers unprecedented international expansion and partnership opportunities to UK Higher Education Institutions. Options include dual and joint degrees, blended and e-learning, accreditation and validation, and branch campuses. However, this also requires HEIs to address important quality assurance and student experience issues around these programmes and partnerships. Viewers of this conference will gain insight into delivering transnational education in all its forms, including negotiating and maintaining successful partnerships with overseas institutions, and the possibilities offered by developing markets and new models of learning.
