How the Challenge works:
This is a nine month online and face to face campaign leading up to the announcement of the Challenge winner at the LG Group Annual Conference in Birmingham. Through the power of interactive web TV the principal broadcast partner will take centre stage reinforced via a dynamic marketing and communication campaign using email, inserts, direct mail, websites, social media and high-level networking events. Five local authorities will ‘host’ one of the challenges and will help shape and ultimately judge them.
Challenges will be in one of five categories:
- a front-line service challenge
- a financial challenge
- a media/communications challenge
- a community engagement challenge
- an innovation challenge
