Jamie O’Connell is responsible for strategy and product innovation within the world’s largest and fastest growing community of students with more than a million members, driving over 36,000 conversation posts every day. He has worked closely with the HE sector for a number of years supporting universities and ministers in connecting with students online.

Jamie joined The Student Room Group in 2007 from Cancer Research UK where he helped to formulate their web strategy. Prior to that, he held online marketing roles at Botanical Gardens Conservation International (BGCI.org), a botanical conservation charity based at Kew gardens and Jobsite.co.uk.

Jamie lives in London and spends time in both the London and Brighton offices of The Student Room Group.
